When I first saw this little girl she touched my heart and I just had to paint her.
After I entered the painting in the Lodi Invitational Art Show I was pleasantly surprised to see that both Meghan and my painting were on the front page of the Finger Lakes Times newspaper.

This Indian Dancer and his son were seen at a Ganondagon, NY festival of music and dance. After he finished his dance the proud father scooped up his young son. The colors and contrast of old and new generation were what struck me.
